My Journey to Burnout Coaching
I was hardworking, high-achieving, respected, and successful. But beneath the surface, I was running on empty. I pushed harder, worked longer, relied on caffeine, and ignored the warning signs. I told myself this was just a phase—something I could push through. After all, I had always powered through before.
Then, in 2017, everything collapsed.
I hit a wall—hard. My body and mind shut down. My energy was gone, my motivation evaporated, and my confidence crumbled. Simple decisions felt impossible. Tasks that once came easily became overwhelming. I withdrew, too ashamed to admit I was struggling, too afraid of what it would mean for my career.
I had no choice but to take time off work. But the moment I felt slightly better, I forced myself back. I thought I could pick up where I left off. That was my biggest mistake. Within weeks, I was back in burnout, unable to function properly, and beating myself up for not being able to push through. This time, I was off work for six months. During that time, I had to rebuild myself from the ground up. I started setting boundaries. I learned to say no. Slowly, I began to feel like myself again.
But old habits die hard. By 2020, I had fallen back into the same patterns—working too much, prioritizing everything except my own well-being. Then a colleague went off with stress, and I stepped in, taking on their workload and mine. I saw the warning signs, but I told myself, just a little longer, just until things settle down. But they never did, and then, once again, I broke.
This time, though, something was different. I finally accepted the truth: burnout wasn’t something I could just recover from and move on. If I didn’t fundamentally change how I lived and worked, I would keep ending up in the same place.
So I changed everything.
I replaced my old coping mechanisms with real, sustainable strategies. I exercised, meditated, and set boundaries—not just at work, but in life. I prioritized my well-being in a way I never had before. And for the first time in years, I felt in control.
And then I realized—I wasn’t just doing this for myself.
I saw so many others trapped in the same cycle I had been in, believing burnout was the price of success. I knew I had to help them break free.
That’s why I became a burnout coach. Not just to help people recover, but to help them create a life where success doesn’t come at the cost of well-being. Because I know now—you don’t have to choose between ambition and health. You can have both.
My Approach
I believe in a balanced, sustainable way of achieving success. My coaching is grounded in practical strategies, mindset shifts, and real-world experience. I help people regain energy, focus, and purpose—not just in their careers, but in life as a whole.
Why I Do This Work
Burnout isn’t just exhaustion—it can steal your confidence, motivation, and joy. I know first hand how difficult it is to break free from that cycle. My mission is to help others reclaim their energy, confidence, and passion—so they can build success that lasts.
